"Retreat on the Bayou was an amazing little house in which to stay. We enjoyed all the incredibly thoughtful amenities that Travis and Angel provided (the pups especially enjoyed their welcome cookies!). Travis and Angel were responsive to any questions we had, and clearly have put a lot of thought and effort into making Retreat on the Bayou a place guests will want to return. I know we do! The neighborhood is walkable and kayakable - it was so great that the kayaks are there to use. What a treat to be able to kayak right off the backyard! There are several restaurants and fast food options nearby, along with shopping. The location is great, especially for an extended stay."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Retreat at the Bayou. The home is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac, making it incredibly peaceful with almost no traffic at all. Exactly what we were hoping for. The interior was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so cozy that it immediately felt like a home away from home. The beds were extremely comfortable, and my quality of sleep was a ten out of ten. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it not once, but twice, and the hosts were incredibly gracious and accommodating throughout the process. The security deposit was returned promptly with no issues, which we really appreciated.
